King's Indoor Chapel Ceremony & King's Great Hall Reception

“Shay and I met in April of 2006 through my cousins. We started dating in July of 2006 and soon fell in love.  On March 11, 2007 I found my engagement ring hidden in my Easter basket!  A week later the wedding plans began.”

“We looked at several venues in the Cadillac area, but nothing really felt right. After some research we found Castle Farms and went up to take a tour. We both fell in love with the castle and knew it would be the perfect spot for our fairy tale wedding.”

“We knew we wanted a Christmas wedding and that is where we started. We planned the wedding for December 28th, 2007. With help from our families we hauled in about 40 real Christmas Trees ranging in size from 7’ to 18’ tall all of which were Blue Spruce and grown by Wiggins Tree Company.  We also hauled in 1000’ of Fraser Fir garland and 20 large Fraser Fir wreaths and began decorating.  Each table had a small Fraser Fir wreath and a red pillar candle embossed with silver snowflakes for the centerpieces. Each place setting also had a chocolate-covered cherry and jingle bells.  The head table was decorated with two large evergreen centerpieces and our Fraser Fir and roses bouquets.  The cake was a great addition that completed our fairy tale theme. My parents along with Cathy Wiggins (Cakes by Cathy) surprised us with the most beautiful wedding cake we had ever seen.  It was a sparkling castle with a fountain and garland for accents.”

“The entire day we had people telling us it was the most beautiful wedding they had been to and we are still hearing it today.  It was truly a wedding fit for a prince and princess (and a few kings)! But it wouldn’t have been possible without our families and the castle staff! Thanks to all of you!”

“Castle Farm's staff was a great help throughout our planning, decorating, and the wedding day. Anora, Janelle, and Josh were all excellent to work with. Thank you for helping create the wedding of our dreams!”
