“William and I met at church in June, 2008. I remember I almost didn’t go that particular Sunday, as I’d had a late Saturday night. But I’m so glad I did decide to go to church that day, because that’s where I first saw William. When we met, it was instant. We just knew.”

“I always wanted to get married at Castle Farms. One day, out of the blue (I wasn’t even engaged yet!), I did a Google search for "Castle Weddings Venues" and sure enough, Castle Farms popped up. As soon as William and I got engaged, we made an appointment for a bridal tour. I remember as we were driving on M-66, I said to Will, "I really hope this isn't a big disappointment". But then we arrived at Castle Farms, and just looking at it, we both knew. It was beautiful! We booked our wedding date that very same day.”

Live animals, such as sheep and alpaca, and interactive demonstrations including sheep dogs at work and sheep-shearing presentations, provide hours of enjoyment, as well as being educational. The Fiber Fashion Show, featuring handmade items such as hats, sweaters and lace shawls, highlights the Festival and is great fun for all.
