Event Calendar at Castle Farms

At Castle Farms, we care about our community, and our event planning is designed to reflect a spirit of cooperation and civic concern. Educational workshops to inform and entertain the general public are designed to benefit non-profit organizations, while children’s events, such as Prince and Princess Story time, delight little ones with simple wholesome fare.   • May 25 Local Appreciation Day
    FREE tours for locals all day! Bring your id from Charlevoix, Emmet, Otsego or Antrim County. Snowbirds, bring 3 pieces of mail addressed to you in one of these counties. All others $5 per person. 10am-4pm
  • May 30- 31 Castle Farms Community Yard Sale
    Buy and sell treasures from the Charlevoix area. Sellers may set up at no charge, but must register in advanced. Buyers may enter the yard sale at no charge. The event will take place outdoors in our grass parking area regardless of weather conditions. 9am-3pm both days.
  • June 9 Garden Talk with Rob McCartney- Container Gardening: the Features, Fundamentals and Fun
    In Rob’s presentation he will cover: •Basic principles of soil type, fertilizer and proper watering • Container selection issues and dimensions • Effective design and theme • Creative and unique opportunities for use
    From patios, porches, decks, balconies, window sills and more, container gardens bring plants closer to us, adding color, fragrance, and texture to settings where flower beds and gardens are not possible. Join us, bring a friend and discover how container gardens can bring life to your home and enjoy the special ambiance of gathering at Castle Farms. Free to the public. 7pm

    Spend a memorable evening at Castle Farms on a summer Twilight Tour. Begin your evening with a delicious four-course Farm-To-Table dinner catered by A Matter of Taste (September Twilight Tour features tour prior to dinner).   • December 5- 6< Santa’s Train Wonderland
    Enjoy our trains and visit with Santa. 10am-3pm, Admission $5 per person (3 and up) VIP Santa Pass $20 per child
  • December 31 Modern Day Masquerade
    Join us at the Castle on New Year’s Eve as we usher out the Old Year and ring in the New! 9pm-1am, $45 per person
