Bistro Tour Food Setup Leader

One Seasonal Position, 25-40 hours per week May-October

As the Bistro Tour Food Setup Leader at 1918 Cellars, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless execution of food and beverage setups for bistro tours during this seasonal operations. This position involves managing and coordinating all aspects of room setup, food preparation, presentation, and service to enhance the overall guest experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.  This is a seasonal position, and the Bistro Tour Food Setup Leader will be expected to work closely with the management team to contribute to the success of 1918 Cellars at Castle Farms during peak operational periods.

$17 per hour

Assistant Venue Coordinator

Castle Farms is seeking an energetic, hard-working night owl to assist our team of Venue Coordinators in facilitating wedding ceremonies, as well as closing receptions and other events. This individual must be mature, outgoing, and willing to work weekends and late evenings. The position requires customer service, quick problem-solving, exceptional communication skills, the ability to work well under pressure, and initiative. We’re looking for someone who can carry out our high standards for events while doing clean up at the end of the night with a positive attitude and team spirit.

We are looking to fill four Seasonal Part-Time Positions (between 10-24 hours each week May – October). Training begins in April.

Starting Rate: $19.00 per hour

Wine Room Associate

Do you have an outgoing personality? Do you have retail, bartending, or customer service experience? Then we have a position for you! This position requires you to efficiently serve guests while creating a fun, memorable experience. Customer service, organization, and quick-thinking skills are needed. The schedule is daytime hours on weekdays and weekends, with occasional evening hours required on weekends.

As a Wine Room Associate, you will be responsible for providing the best possible experience to each guest while developing a relationship that promotes sales and brand loyalty. Tasks for this role include being able to answer guest questions, pouring wine and hard cider, and selling items from the 1918 Cellars Bistro. Wine Room Associates will positively greet guests while being able to answer visitor questions about Castle Farms’ history and give wine recommendations. This position will also include helping assemble displays, stocking retail items, and maintaining a clean facility.

This is a seasonal position.

Operations Assistant (Set-Up & Housekeeping)

As an Operations Assistant focusing on Set-Up and Housekeeping, you will play a vital role in preparing Castle Farms for a myriad of events. You will work closely with a dynamic team to ensure that our venue is immaculately set up and maintained, contributing to unforgettable experiences for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the set-up team to prepare event spaces according to specified layouts and requirements.
Execute housekeeping tasks to maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the venue.
Take initiative in identifying and addressing any issues or discrepancies to uphold the highest standards of presentation.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure seamless coordination and timely completion of tasks.
Demonstrate problem-solving skills to overcome challenges and adapt to evolving event needs.
Uphold a positive and professional demeanor while interacting with colleagues and clients.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in event set-up, housekeeping, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Maturity and professionalism in handling responsibilities and interacting with others.
Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for maintaining cleanliness and aesthetic appeal.
Flexibility to work morning or afternoon shifts as needed, including weekends.
