Event Calendar at Castle Farms

At Castle Farms, we care about our community, and our event planning is designed to reflect a spirit of cooperation and civic concern. Educational workshops to inform and entertain the general public are designed to benefit non-profit organizations, while children’s events, such as Prince and Princess Story time, delight little ones with simple wholesome fare.   • July 23, 30, August 6, 13, 20, and 27th Twilight Tours of Castle Farms
    Weekly Twilight Tours of Castle Farms will be offered every Wednesday in July and August. A professional Tour Guide will show you through the buildings and grounds while relating the rich history of our venue. Tours are Wednesdays July 16 through August 27 at 8pm. Price is $11 per person. Reservations are required so call 231-237-0884 ext. 224 to save your spot!
  • August 6th All Aboard for Story Time
    Come for a story with our Train Engineer, snacks and an activity. $5 per child (1 adult per paid child), ages 2-12, Event hours 1-3pm, Story begins at 1pm. Want to see the whole Castle? Discounted self-guided tours available to event attendees.
  • August 13th Fairy Garden Make n’Take
    With Fairy Gardens so popular, and garden fairies fluttering through our Enchanted Forest, Castle Farms decided to join in the magical fun. One evening each month throughout the summer, enjoy free admission to a Fairy Garden Make n’Take class presented by a Master Gardener at Castle Farms. Learn how to create, cultivate and maintain a miniature fairy garden. Limited quantities of containers available in the Castle’s Gift Shop, so you may want to bring your own. Baskets, buckets, flower pots, small wagons, fish bowls (no fish, please!), and hollowed out logs make great containers. Potting soil provided, free of charge. Accessories, decorations, discounted starter kits and plants available for purchase. 6:30pm
    Exclusive Twilight Tours of Castle Farms available at 8:00 pm on Wednesday, August 13, following free class presentation. Twilight Tour prices: $11.00 per person.
  • September 28th Harvest Festival
    Celebrate the Fall season with cider and doughnuts, sack races, arts and crafts, and all sorts of fall-themed activities at this family-friendly event.  Click here for more information.
  • October 26th Grand Bridal Expo
    The finest in Northern Michigan wedding service providers will be in attendance at the 10th annual Grand Bridal Expo. A must for any couple planning a Northern Michigan wedding! Hours: 10am-3pm, Fashion show at 3pm. $6 per person, children under 12 free. Click here for more information.
  • December 6th Santa at the Castle!
    Admission $5 per person (3 and up). Hours: 11am-3pm. VIP Santa Pass $20 per child. Click here for more information.
