Michael & Martinique started planning their wedding after Michael proposed at sunset on the observation deck at TahquamenonFalls. After touring Castle Farms they decided that it was the perfect setting for their Scottish themed wedding. For their ceremony, Michael & Martinique decided to use many of the Scottish wedding traditions including a bagpiper, hand fasting ceremony and instead of a Unity candle they both drank from a Quaich. Also sticking to the Scottish theme, Michael chose to wear a kilt and all of the wedding colors revolved around the Scottish plaid patterns that they chose.
