Antique Wedding Dress and Quilt Display – 2018

One of the many things you will get a chance to see while celebrating Castle Farms 100 year anniversary is owner, Linda Mueller’s stunning collection of wedding gowns and quilts dating all the way back to 1758. Over thirty dresses and twenty quilts will be displayed on the second level of the Castle, a few of the quilts were even made by Linda herself. Most dresses will be accompanied with a photo of the bride and some will even include the other accessories that were worn on her special day (veils, hats, shoes, and gloves).

The dresses are made out of many different materials like organza, cotton, ivory silk, and satin. See how wedding dress designs transformed through time and notice how some older styles made a comeback in more recent years. Save the date for the Centennial Celebration July 3-5, 2018 and while your visiting, don’t miss the Antique Dress & Quilt Display which will be showcased July 3-16, 2018.
