Untraditional guest books are on the rise in the wedding world, as couples continually search for new ways to make sure they remember everyone attending their celebration, as well as include the list of family and friends into their every-day life. Traditional guest books are a great, easy way to have each guest and his/her contact information noted, but they’re often stored away once the wedding is over, so there’s no good way to display guests’ congratulatory wishes. Over the past year, we’ve seen more and more “wedding trees” presented as a guest book alternative. Guests get a chance to mark their thumbprint and sign their name as leaves on a giant printed tree. This summer, many of our Castle brides and grooms included even more unique personal touches when it came to keeping track (and displaying) who attended their weddings. We couldn’t let that go unnoticed!
Each of the above ideas offers a unique take on the traditional wedding guest book. No matter how you decide to incorporate the guest book into your wedding, make sure it fits your personality. Remember, it’s something you’ll treasure throughout your entire lives.
