To preserve historical buildings in a financially sustainable fashion while enhancing the community that embraces us.

Richard & Linda Mueller 

Linda purchased Castle Farms in 2001. The Muellers are enjoying restoring the Castle and building extensive gardens for future generations. Linda's love for the Castle can be seen throughout each room and garden.  Richard is the General Manager of Castle Farms and brings his business expertise.

Anora Purdy

Director of Weddings

Anora is a Certified Professional Wedding Coordinator. She has coordinated over 150 weddings at Castle Farms and supervised over 100 more since 2004. A 2003 graduate of Northern Michigan University, Anora was the first bride married at Castle Farms under the ownership of Linda Mueller.

Stephenie Sayre

Director of Marketing & Shows

Stephenie enjoys the challenge of meeting advertising deadlines while planning and executing festivals and shows. She holds a B.B.A. in advertising from EMU, and is a third year Senior Member on the Board of Examiners for the Michigan Quality Council.

Peggy Kusina

Director of Tours & Assistant to Linda Mueller

Peggy is always ready to help in any capacity. She holds a B.A. and Masters from Michigan State University. She comes to us after many years of teaching math and science in a middle school setting. Peggy enjoys organizing things and loves seeing a plan come together!

Erika Kammermann

Administrative Assistant

Originally from Charlevoix, Erika is excited to be back in her home town. She holds a BA, with a major in Art. With her creative eye she facilitated over 50 weddings at Castle Farms. Erika now uses her talents as the Administrative Assistant and will facilitate corporate and other special events.

August 30 - 31 - Royal Craft Show

Come to Castle Farms over Labor Day weekend for the 5th Annual Royal Craft Show! This event will feature the finest arts and crafts from a huge variety of vendors!

June 14 - 15 - Charlevoix Renaissance Festival

If adventure is what you crave, then you won't want to miss the High Seas Adventure weekend at the Charlevoix Renaissance Festival! Set sail for Castle Farms where pirates abound and thrills await!

October 12 - Grand Bridal Expo

Northern Michigan's premiere wedding location is proud to present the annual Grand Bridal Expo! Spending the day in this magnificent stone castle is bound to evoke a matrimonial mood! Feast your senses on the numerous offerings from Northern Michigan's finest wedding service providers.

July 26 - 27 - Fiber Arts Festival

If you think of oatmeal when you think of fiber - think again! It’s a shopping extravaganza with more than 50 vendors showcasing hand made goods including sweaters, original lace shawls, hats, mittens, and much more. Live animals - Interactive demonstrations - Sheep dogs at work - Sheep shearing presentations – Fashion show
