Castle Farms welcomes all guests! Whether you’re here to experience the majesty of our magnificent stone walls, stroll the sweeping gardens, or simply take in the breathtaking views found around every corner of the Castle grounds, Castle Farms is the perfect setting where old world charm meets new world fun.

Your Historic Self-Guided Tour starts with a short video, which presents the history and footage of the restoration process that has turned this beautiful French Renaissance Castle built in 1918 into the World-Class Historic property it is today. Wander at your leisure amidst the grandeur of the fully restored stone courtyards and buildings. View valuable castle, royalty, chess, toys, and antique cake topper collections. Visit the 1918 Museum, showcasing posters, music scores, uniforms and other memorabilia from the Great War era. Guaranteed you’ll have fun watching one of the largest working Model Garden Railroads in Michigan; (open May-Oct, weather permitting) 55 G-scale trains operate on over 2,000 feet of track.  Play tag in our hedge maze, or peek-a-boo with the gnomes and fairies in the Enchanted Forest.

Self-Guided Tours are a great way to Experience the Majesty of Castle Farms! Special children tours, set up as a treasure hunt, are lots of fun for the kids. Though Castle Farms does not have a restaurant on site, you’re free to bring food and enjoy a picnic on our lovely grounds. Take time to play a game of giant chess, or swing into summer with a cozy game of croquet. The Reflection Pond is stocked with giant rainbow trout; feeding the fish is always fun for the kids. Be sure and bring your camera, for there are plenty of photo opportunities at Castle Farms.
